HAPPY BITSA DAY
« on: July 20, 2020, 12:54:45 PM »
Raising a glass to our Ralph, still very much missed.
I wonder what our Ralph would have made of COVID, I'm sure he would have blamed the French 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I never knew Bitsa but I think I would have liked to have met him.
He sounds like someone I may have been on the same wavelength with, at least on some subjects. 🙂

It’s nice to know that he is fondly remembered by the forum.

It is strange how fast time.passes, there are probably quite a few on here who joined after Bitsa's passing.
To sum Ralph up, he did not suffer fools gladly, and made it crystal clear, and in his eyes anyone buying pattern parts when genuine was still available was most certainly a fool, regardless of their reasoning. He was a fountain of great knowledge about these bikes, and would gladly help anyone as long as they weren't French!
The reason he has the French was he had to live in France as his wife inherited quite a large property there and he was forced to live there. He hated french people, their language, their food, cars, dreadful excuse for beer, and the fact they were all insane as they drove on the wrong side of the road!
He also had a wicked sense of humour, and loved getting into some of the banter that went on, and his final joke was to pass away on Graham's (Trigger) birthday, so he wouldn't be forgotten.
So, happy birthday Trigger, and Ralph, if there is a next life, have a cold English beer and play the Quo loud, we won't forget you.

RIP Bitsa.....never mind what would he have thought of Covid 19 Nurse Julie.......what would he have thought of Minisewer Macron 'running' La Belle Francaise' !

No doubt it would be suitably 'fruity' - rather like me watching the England Footie team on TV.....my Missus says that she has never heard so many swear words in one sentence and all ending in 'ING' !
