I had it with boots that let trousers/leathers ride up. I’m now using stretch Denim jeans with Kevlar and padding, along with sneaker style bike shoe/boots. Shoes take a little wearing in but jeans v comfy, and no snagging on the choke. My Ashman boots and Lewis racing boots from back in the day won’t even zip up over bare legs, never mind leathers! Must have shrunk.

I have a cable tie around my choke lever to stop this boot problem, it goes under the float bowl drain screw and around, works a treat. Nothing more embarrassing than the engine going flat just when you need it.

Steve, I just realised it wasn’t the boots that were slimmer  :(
