You could also put oil in the petrol. Just like a 2t.

The best way is never ride short journeys and never ride slowly.

Get them hot.and keep them hot.

The new ones now seem to last ok.
Guess being lead free helps

I can remember spraying two stroke oil into a silencer as an anti rust measure.
