Brake light blues...
« on: June 20, 2020, 08:02:15 PM »
My brake light works fine from the pedal but it is failing from the handlebar. I haven't found an obvious connection issue yet and wondered if it is hydraulic. I've bled the brakes and still it fails. Oddly, if left undisturbed a while the light functions for one squeeze of the lever and stops working again. The hydraulic switch is only two yeas old.

Take the electrical connectors of it and short them together, if the light works, it’s the switch failing. Just because it’s newish doesn’t mean it can’t be the fault
Your magic worked! OK so a new switch is needed. I hope the next one lasts a bit longer.  ;D
