I just found two Classic Mechanics mags from 1988 with a strip & rebuild of a CB500/4 plus there is already on here (but buried in another post) a scan of the  MCM 500 Strip from mid 70's (1974 IIRC) at the Honda 5* Training school.

So I photo'd (sorry couldn't scan as auto scanner is at work and that's closed)  and combined both articles into a single .pdf doc.

In the 1988 rebuild the author said he prefered the Haynes workshop manual to the Genuine Honda one. I can't say I fullly agree(both have glaring errors)  but I do think the Haynes manual is much maligned on here and makes a useful addition to the Honda one  .... as I  hope these scans will do too.
