Cam chain tensioner seal

Hi
Has anyone had a problem with an oil leak from the cam chain tensioner bolt.
I have replaced the seal and the tensioner is new.
Has anyone used an o ring instead of the flat Honda seal

The soft alloy washer has always worked for me as long as you are using a flanged bolt and the surface on head is good and uncracked

Thanks I will try that but I've just looked at the parts diagram and it is an o ring.
I used a seal that I got when I bought the bike as a project and was marked as the seal for the cam chain tensioner but it is a flat ring.
Not sure but it may be a seal for the tacho drive

Ah well you said bolt and that to me is the one at the top. Adjuster nut has O ring and plain washer
