It's amusing that he has an interest in "time travel" and further so that also involves brass and plumbing fittings,  the bigger the better 

What is it within a dramatist's psychological makeup that equates plumbing of various sizes ( it's always there) with the ability to travel through time?  Along with Victorian button down upholstery 

Nearest we've seen to time travel is long, white, and pointy , in the form of Concorde.  Even that has no inch and a half brass compression fittings  just Aeroquip .

Perhaps if he's got genuine time travel skills we could ask him to nip into Tippets Honda of Surbiton in 1972 with a parts shopping list we can knock together for mutual benefit
