Well after a few days off and on of “test track and trace” and sorting some rather poor electrical mods, I plucked up the courage to connect battery, all seemed to be OK except none of the idiot lights worked all suffering a bit of corrosion in bulb holders. But after getting lights working (mainly oil pressure) working, starter solenoid and replacement cheapo rectifier fitted, I thought let’s give it a go! Temp fuel tank set up with fuel pouring from the carbs I thought I’ve came this far let’s try anyway, with a couple of kicks she fired up and ran pretty good oil light went out pretty quick. Wasn’t expecting it to be that easy. These things just want to run. Next job carbs off.
