Bill,
Hope the new ones work better!
Fingers crossed for you.
Be keen to see how you get on as I'll need to sort mine out a bit sharpish as well.

Cheers,
Andy

Good stuff Bill
Makes a bit of a mockery of the DSS description of the Takasago ones as "no compromise on quality" !!

I'll give them a call next day or two as the front DID rim is still showing out of stock.

Cheers,
Andy

sorry to jump in as well. I'm looking to rebuild my rear wheel soon.

I used the front wheel rim and spokes from WEMOTO. Quality seems to be good but they dont have the rear.

Is it only DSS that have stock ear rims or can I source them else where?

Well that was easier with the DID rim than the other ones, I've managed to get around 1mm run out on the lateral (side to side ) which I feel is acceptable but I'm not sure on the radial -currently about 1mm measured with a feeler gauge between pointer and rim edge- looks okay to me but should it be lower.?

I think that's within tolerance, but try and get it closer if you can.

BryanJ - thanks for that, well under 3mm which does seem an awful lot but finished at 1.5mm for both so good enough for Jazz :)
