Found this part in my zinc plating bucket and unsure whether its off the 500k2 or something left over from previous bike builds. Anybody recognise it?

It looks like the springy thing that lifts the fuel tank flap on a K3 550 or a 500F

Never had a 550 Brian (and 500 was bought just as bike - ie no extra spares that could be from another bike). Last bike I did was a K6 with F2 tank so now you have mentioned tank bits, I checked CMSL schematics and its as you suggest but for 750F

Bryan is correct. It is not off a K2 unless you have a 550 F/K3 tank fitted ;)

Was it off your 750 F tank ?
