SUB LOOM 3210-593-000 UPDATE ! Pilot cluster wont light !
« on: October 26, 2020, 09:09:18 AM »
I have started to refit, my Honda CB550K3 main wiring loom which I purchased form DS. I have slaved the new loom in NP But unfortunately previous owners have cut and modified all the looms before me for some reason. Including modifying the sub loom, P/N 3210-593-000.
( The sub loom 3210-593-000 is the loom that links the alternator, rectifier, flasher unit & starter relay together which has the white plugs on it that the main loom and alternator plug into)
Has anyone got a old sub loom that not been chopped or modified that they don't want or that I can borrow Or would anyone have a wiring diagram for this please. So I can get Alan to copy it for me please,
Then he will have this to add to his stock list of available looms for a CB550k3 Happy to pay postage cost

Nigel

To carry on from above post wiring loom is now slaved in and I have managed to get most of it to work Except I can not get any of the following Pilot cluster lights ( the light cluster that give Oil Px, High Beam, Neutral, & indicators ) I can not get any of these lights to work I know that Neutral & Oil px lights go to earth to make the circuit and neutral has to be correctly positioned / adjusted to bring the light on.
I also can not get the direction indicators on the pilot cluster to work for Left & Right to come on with the L/H & R/H indicators
Any help or guidance would be gratefully received please

Hi Thank you all  :)

For your quick reply and help with solving this problem and where to purchase it. Its really appreciated  :) I checked again the P/N from the CMS site and it is  32105-390-000 my mistake and well spotted  ::) Thank you Graham for the info for it being the same as a F1/F2.

Will get the part ordered and hopefully Muttley will show some signs of life  ;D  ;D

Frankly, I don't know what to make of it. The number 32100- is reserved for a complete wiring harness. Depicted however is a sub harness, which in Honda speak starts with the number 32105- . If you move the cursor over the pic, you read: Honda CB550K 1975 - 1977 Complete Wiring harness - (WH-390).
When in doubt, there are the parts lists. The CB550K and CB550K1 (on the market in 1975) had: 32105-374-670, the K2 (76) had 32105-374-700. AFIK these models were not traded in the UK. The middle number -390- appeared when the CB550F arrived. All CB550F models had 32105-390-000 as well as all K3 models.
I wouldn't mind to order one. I mean, it might be a good deal for if I decide to replace my rectifier by a Schottky type, but, frankly, I have no clue what to expect.
