Oil Strainer 400/4
« on: November 13, 2020, 07:42:24 PM »
How critical is the condition of the small pipe and O ring on the oil strainer please? The oil pressure builds up quickly on starting but after removing the sump both items seem quite hard. If I could get them easily I would replace them but not sure where to go. I don't know whether these are a certain type of rubber to resist oil and heat.

I have the correct size O rings in stock if you need one and the pipe is just a piece of fuel pipe. If you let me know the ID of the pipe, I'm sure I will have stock of that too.

Thanks very much. If it's only fuel pipe I probably have some, about 5mm or just a bit bigger than 3/16" I reckon. As regards the O ring I have some but don't know what they are made off. Will be in touch.
