Fuel Tank Sealant

Hi,

has anyone had success using fuel tank sealant as a cure for internal rust problems?

I'm considering giving it a go on my 750F1 and would be grateful for any hints and tips on how to use the stuff  :-\

Years ago used Petseal to curw a pinhole and it did, Eastwood list a tank sealer and they have a good name to keep. Either way i would think all the loose rust needs to be removed first

Used petseal my self on an f2 tank to seal some internal rust, seems to be absolutely fine now. Used to block the No2 carb feed up regularly.
