Go along to photo No.9 and the price is £2,395, worth it for that money.
I'd like to see the bills for the 'full rebuild' work undertaken by Hunts Motorcycles approx 7 years ago first though. It does look nice and well kept for its age. Engine is furry and most nuts and bolts are rusty indicating it's been sitting somewhere damp, not good for the bores. It also looks like it's been fitted with a Cibie headlight? The seat looks new, if it was original the studs would have gone rusty as the other bolts have. The exhaust also looks good, maybe a new one during its full rebuild?
One big question though is why has been fitted with a KPH speedo? Handlebar clamps are alloy and should be black to match the top yoke. Speedo drive is also black but should be plain alloy, has it been messed around with at some stage? I would want to know a bit more about it's history and where it came from before buying. There's also an AMC 250 in the background of one of the photos.
My first 400/4 was an early F version in ruby red, pilions used to complain about the pogo effect of the rear swing arm mounted footrests.
