santa came early
« on: December 19, 2020, 01:41:47 PM »
after some people had mentioned Agbrigg chrome platers i thought i would give them a try as the lead time was less than most. I emailed first to see if they were still working as it was in last lockdown, and Sean was very prompt at replying so i sent them off a few weeks ago. Yesterday he rang to say they were ready, i paid with paypal, and lo and behold they arrived today. I had 2 fork ears and 2 indicator stems done for my 550 and they turned out nice, £70 delivered so well chuffed, can recommend.

I had 2 pairs of ears, these were the ones on the bike when i got it. The chrome on the outer part of the ear bit was quite flakey although the inner side wasn't too bad. obviously the rear is not as good a finish but very happy with the result. In the shed fitting them now!
