I read the closing procedures message several times, carefully, word by word. Nope, nothing wrong with it at all, except that knowing there actually was something was driving me nuts.

I only saw it when I was wondering what on earth BryanJ was on about, and then re read the message. Now I know I can't unsee it, I can't believe I missed it!

I am the apostrophe police, the number of people who think that " 's"  pluralises something is astounding. Our local tip has signs everywhere saying "No Bag's", and the charity shop here sells "CD's" amongst other things. I read a great article about a man after my own heart in Bristol, who goes around at night armed with a ladder, and different colours of paint and tape to make rogue apostrophes go away.

Lost in translation from Japanese rather than misspelt, the Webike site refers a lot to 'out of print motorcycles'.

Leave my bug alone, it is grammatically correct!

This chap is quite a sensation in the USA, however the fact that the sign sometimes reads 'Brian' and sometimes 'Brain' proves that it has been messed with via photoshop...

You want to see out local WHAT store.  On the edges of the shelving are notices;  "Smile, Your on CCTV"
Drives me up the wall whenever I go there.

I love the thought of a guy deleting apostrophies.  I'd gladly hold his ladder if he came around here.

I read about a Spanish Hotel that had experienced problems with the quality (not quailty) of their Water Supply, and after the experts had sorted it out, a sign was displayed in the Foyer saying:

'All the water in this Hotel has been passed by the Management'.

A Tesco store in Greater Manchester had a sign to label the 'Stationary Department' - it sold pens and paper etc, and didn't move at all!

I'm no fan of the welsh language but I find this sort of thing hilarious,  especially when no one notices.

I thought that politics was banned on this forum as we all have differing views.  :o
I wasn't talking about Diane Abbott's politics, I was talking about her arithmetic!  ;D
