Do you think years of wearing crash helmets is making bikers go bald easier?  :-\

Julie....it's not fair. Women have a lot more head hair to the square inch than men, even communism couldn't change that. But you've none around the boat race that makes most of us men shave each damn day!  :o

I've always thought that was the case for me. I started biking when I was 17. Not long after I remember my nan pointing out I'd lost some hair on top and she thought it might be the helmet. Now 56. Not totally bald but lost most the hair on the top of my head .

Of course we know the real reason for men balding is an excess of Testosterone in the body that's converted into Dihydrotesterone by an enzyme.

That might explain the Macho image of male bikers !
