Hi all

Thanks for letting me join the site.  Currently restoring a 1972 CB500K money pit 😂. Its 99% complete so hopefully will be giving it a run soon.  I also run a 1937 AJS Model 22.

Hi Andrew.
If you didn't spend money on bikes you'd only waste it.  Let's see some pics of the rebuild.
Where's that 10mm socket got to?

Hi from Orkney Andrew! If you are 99% complete the money will be well and truly in the pit 😂. Problem is shortly after one pit is full we then goon to look for another pit. I often wonder if you were to pay someone to restore for you I think you could easily double that pit. Expensive hobby it is, a lot of satisfaction in knowing you’ve saved another from the knackers yard.

Here's a couple of pics as requested.  The CB500K2 I'm building, I've not used a standard colour as i couldn't justify the cost of the paint :o  I quite like this colour and it is a Honda colour  :D
The other is my AJS Model 22 1937
