Yes the more i think about it the more i am talking myself into just fitting new rings, it is having new valves , guides and oil seals, so if it does smoke i know what it is, also if it is only a little bit on start up , with reasonable oil consumption then i can live with that, after all it is only going too be ridden on the odd weekend here and there.
