Do any of you follow Twitter?

2 young ladies have just done a tour of Scotland,

I envy them,

I  would love to explore the realm of the north,

This is a semi serious request,

Who fancies a longish sohc ride out?

Suggest about 200 to 400 mile a day ,

Hopefully prebooked b&b

Comments please

Yes, a fantastic day out and lots of money raised for Macmillan - probably still more to come in too!  Good riding weather apart from a wee shower (rather than a shower of wee!)  near the end which dried up in no time giving a good ride home!  I clocked just under a 100 miles on the Wing - but of course, I live in the Wild West!
Good to meet Johnny again and lots of other folk we've missed these past 18 months.
165 bikes Johnny and as we all know there's probably still 5 times that number tucked away in sheds.
For John Webley - if you folks do venture North (probably next year now?) I'm sure a whole bunch of us (and maybe some of the Caithness/Sutherland folk too) would like a meet up for part of your trip.  Only thing to add is that you avoid early June as many of us go to the Shetland Classic - now there's another great place for riding!

Is the Simmer Dim rally still a thing, Ian? I've never been brave enough to go, but back in the day several of the local Spread Eagle club used to go every year, and always said how good it was.

Here's the CL450 out on the local back lanes last week. Dovestones and Pots & Pans are in the background.

Great ride out this afternoon. I took myself out on Kitty to Hunstanton, Norfolk, about 140 mile round trip the way I went. Lovely nattering to other bikers parked up there, all total strangers but if you've got something in common, conversation is always easy. Just got caught in a bit of rain when almost home but no puncture this week ☺️☺️☺️

I was going to stop at Sutton Bridge and take a pic John but there was a police car sitting on that piece of grass and he would have spoiled the photo 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Had a great ride on the Honda to a very warm and dry Cadwell Park today. No Limits track day on, fast boys doing laps around 1min 50secs.       Almost empty Caistor High street and NO artic tankers heading for Ming Ming for a change.
Excellent ride out.
Regards all......

We rode along Caister High Street today, yes it was very quite which all made for a lovely fast ride. If anyone thinks the Caistor High Street is in a village or a town, its not, its the main road across the Wolds and a fantastically fast road with lots of ups and downs and twisties.... Great fun 😊😊😊

Caister Back Road as my mum used to call it. Great road running from Humberside airport south - always my route of choice when I rode back and forth from Beverley towards Herts.

There's also a loop back further West, Bardney Bends :      Horncastle -Bardney-Market Rasen-then 4 dull miles on the A46 before heading for Moortown and Howsham then before Brigg turn East back to Caistor.

Market Rasen to East Ravendale is a good old wrestle with a bike  on the B1203 but it ends up at the A18, best to turn around and go back down it again !

Enjoy while the roads are dry

There's some lovely places to stop and eat in Lincolnshire, especially mid/northern, but I don't recognise that place nurse Julie , looks pretty good - can you reveal where ?,
