Float bowl adjustment
« on: May 01, 2021, 04:11:58 PM »
The float bowls in the carburetor third from left is sitting lower than the others and there is no springiness to them, what to do about it and what trouble could this be causing? I can't work out how to change anything. ::)

Your float height needs adjusting on the tang George. Follow this:-

Edit, is there actually a float valve under the tang, that float does look very, very low?

I can’t see the tang, has it broken off?
You had me worried there, no it's still there, just that the flash has made it come up very light.

Before I go any further, I've been thinking how to best clean them while they are open, there is this film of dry dusty sort of blemishing. Any suggestions?
