A bit blurred to see critical detail, but first impression is that it looks pretty good judging by the wear patterns.

Thanks all. Reason for strip...mainly curiosity. It’s been sat in a garage for 40 years and before I ride it hard I need to know what’s in it. To be honest the cam chain and primary are also in great nick.

The cases need painting too. They look absolutely sh£@e.

May be tempted to stop at this stage, but really need to understand how I can sort the cosmetics. Can’t see me putting the entire motor in the oven :-\
