1976 Honda 750 Super Sport Running rich
« on: March 10, 2021, 04:19:16 PM »
My  Super Sport runs rich despite a carb. kit being installed.

I have been told that the Needle Jet Holders sometimes called the emulsion tubes need to be replaced. Part Number 16165-341-004

This part does not come in rebuild kits and I have searched and it does not appear to be available anywhere.

As far as I can gather this part was only used on the 1975F and 1976F1 models. CB750k models are different as well as 1977F3 and up.

Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks

Hi Chris,

after much messing around with rich running I replaced the needles and jets with genuine Honda ones, part number 16012-392-004.
I read somewhere that after market carb parts don't always give good results.

I take it you have the needles set correctly?

Good luck
