starter solenoid ( magnetic switch )

Hi, guys
just received a new starter solenoid from David Silver. Like a wally that i am, i didn't note which cable went to which post on the solenoid
does it matter?

Not really, the coil inside will be an e!ectromagnet whichever way the current flows. :D

When I was looking at my bike I found this picture useful as the rubber cover had a best fit situation so I used the rubber cap that is not symetrical  in making the choice.
The photo is not my bike its an image I downloaded.
As has been said it works either way but you may find your wiring fits better if you fit it as it was.
