I finally decided to replace the friction plates and springs on my cb550k3. I bought the clutch kit from DSS for the 550k3.
I removed the original clutch plates keeping them in the right order. I found in the dss kit that the friction plate thats on the outside of the clutch is different to the others.
Not a problem except it looks different and is thicker that the other friction plates.
My question is which way around does this plate go on. It is just like the pic below.

There are no instructions as too which way it should go on.
Is there a correct way??
