I'm presently cleaning up the rear brake mechanism parts ready to fit before the rear swing arm eventually goes into place.
There is a bend in my rear brake rod that could be just how it was built as it looks such a nice curve or the PO bent it when he fitted it together as quite a few parts were not fitted currectly e.g The right hand front fork tube was 180 deg out.
I checked the parts manual - it shows a straight rod - however the parts manual also shows the brake pedal on the right hand side of the illustration with the pedal mechanism the wrong way round.
So do I need to warm it up & straighten it before I proceed to give it a coat of silver paint?
