Sloppy clutch lever fix?
« on: October 01, 2021, 04:00:32 PM »
There is a lot of sloppy up & down movement in my handlebar clutch lever - I've removed the pivot - it looks as if the wear is split between the lever & the pin.
There is also the wear to consider on the base unit itself where the lever / pin fits.

What's the best fix is it new lever & pin?

I do not have the machine tools to fit a brass insert in the old lever?

It should have an anti rattle sleeve fitted around the pin Ted, do you have that part?

Nothing between the pin and the lever just a lock nut at the end - looked at the parts book but can't see the item or part number?
So that's a no I haven't

I've priced up the clutch lever & pivot pin not daft money £17.76 for both plus P&P so will save up some more items I'm bound to need.
