Clutch spring
« on: August 20, 2021, 02:09:11 PM »

Hi all, I took this picture when I was stripping the engine, in the centre of the clutch is a spring that I cannot find in the parts manual, should it be fitted or is it another of the previous owners modifications ?

I was just thinking that myself - someone has gone to the trouble of finding a spring that fits so what was the purpose?

I think they must have been high on blue hylomar fumes or something  ;D  I've never seen so much used on a engine before, even the oil pump was full of it  :o
