Used that video as a reference guide and sailed through DVLA - found out about the DVLA MOT exemption form that you can use instead of having to get an MOT and all the hassle of insuring the bike on the frame number
Current Bikes:-

Thanks for the video - it was really helpful.

Any recommendations for when I come to get the plate done? A quick google through up a few options but I wondered if there as a go-to for users on the forum. Going for silver on black - with some nice silver/chrome edging if possible?

I totally agree that Spanner Rash's advice was spot on and similary, I got through the registration process without a glitch....MOT exempt and Historic Class.  Took two months though!
I got nice pressed aluminium plates from a place in Gloucester called Chase Lane Plates. Good price.
Honda CB750 K7 - 1977 (almost done)
Yamaha XJR 1300

I second that recommendation for Chase Lane Plates - I bought some reflective pressed alloy plates from them for one of our motors - they were well made at sensible money.

Most radiator places will do platrs but usually only reflective. Dont forget they need to see V5(in your name) and sometimes licence as well
