Phil Reid validity ?

Hi all
I am due to buy a phil reid replica wednesday. I know some of the tell tales but can anyone give me exactly the correct info to say yes its authentic not a copy? Also is there a register of bikes including SS U750

out of interest, is it on ebay?  there are a few fakes out there. if its the £9,999 one, there are a few things wrong with it. the trouble is, unless it has paper/photo evidence, it's difficult to tell if it is genuine. also, colin seeley sold kits for individuals to build their own. there are no serial numbers as you would find on a rickman or seeley, but it would need to be an f2 within a certain date

I'm new at this but also an interest of mine. I've been told that PRR VIN numbers should be between CB750G1000014 and 1016024. If I've given miss information please correct me please
