That helmet cam is the most faithfully realistic view I've seen of what it's really like to ride round there, they did something similar with Alonso at the Spa F1 practice session the other week.
I did the Manx on a CB600 in 1997. It looks like an evening practice, with the sun in the riders eyes all the way through the high speed Crosby section. When I did the Manx I found the low sun truly scary at speed, it has seen a few riders off at dawn and dusk. I was actually briefly holding up my hand to shade my view a few times, just to check I was still going in the right direction. Also some of the bumps are insane for a race track, I worried I'd broken a rib when I hit a bump coming onto the Sulby straight and the tank hit my chest.
That front tyre should last, considering the amount of time it spends in the air.
