Okay I'll have to ask what is wintergreen when you get it & what does it do with the alcohol are you making some sort of Poteen without a 'still for cold winter nights?

Yes, that’s it Ted. It’s a potent drink, massage oil or you can treat wood with it (wood….snigger).

Apprantly it’s also a persuasive way of refurbishing your hard rubbers…not yours personally of course.

The double entendres are getting out of hand here :D

Ok, grommet chemistry has commenced  at 11am GMT. First inspection at 2pm….the tension and anticipation.

By Jove, it’s actually working. I’d say a 20% improvement in pliability.

Still needs more time, so will check in tomorrow.

Ok, runners and riders are in. A complete success. Cheap grommets now pliable like OEM. Will now leave a week to see if pliability changes. Next trick, fit panels and test for security.
