I like the concept there :)

clean and simple.

Mind you...I have been guilty of murdering an exhaust before. I had an old Motad NETA system blow a chunk out between the collector and the silencer....so I chopped out hte bad bit and welded the bits back together 6 inches shorter than before. It was horrid...but with enough black paint over it...it looked OK from a distance.  OK...the distance in question was about a mile .... but I was poor and pipes were pricey!

Yeah, but that was a Motad, i'd do that to get by to a Mortad, he's done this for aesthetics! ::) This is a Honda part and one thats 40 years+ old.....What was he thinking??????

I presume he had the wrong glasses on or had been smoking one of those left handed cigarettes or something as nobody would say that looks good! I asked him and he sad it was the look he was going for??????...............Really

I didn't have the heart to ask if it was the bodged, doesn't work, sounds sh*t and looks a bag of bolloc*s  route?

Some folk!

Apparent;y they  weren't damaged before he took a slitting disc to them................. >:(

You cant there's nothing there. Everything thats was there to hold any of the original pegs, brake lever and holder for the brake switch have been chopped off and flapper wheeled to death, badly! the brake switch holder you can see isnt right as its a bent bit of ally  drilled and held on with a random bolt that isnt right. All the clips are gone as is the little right angle bracket.

By fitting or realistically throwing those vile rear-sets on, he's deleted all trace of what was on there before. I was crawling about under it tonight when I got back in to make sure I wasn't going daft but there's really nothing there to mount to. It's fixable but with the offer of a frame out there, it changes it a bit. Just need to sea piccy of how it should look as I still dont know whats actually missing, there's simply nought there!

And we do this for fun ;D!!

Nope, it should look like this snd be fitted behind the frame rail by the kickstart. This is the bracket.

If what you’re looking at is this, it isn’t, it’s a badly cut strip of poor ally bent to fit round a cheap Chinese rear brake switch that’s not long out the bin

See what I mean? ;D

Let me just have a word with the personal banker and see if I can redeem my Christmas voucher a bit earlier this year and I'll get back to you on the frame. I's looking favourable tbh as it now seems there's not a lot left of mine for what I want to do on the build.
