Brush painting

Yes I know it's a bit of a bodge job, but has anybody had any success in brush painting crankcase in situ. If so what paint would was used. Please don't shout at me, only asking!!!!!!!!

POR15 is designed to be brushed on... great coverage etc.

I've used brushing coach enamel on a whole car - one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen was on  Moggie 1000 van it was done in the 1970's by a local Painter & Decorators in maroon.
Amended from 100 to 1000 thanks Bryan.

Must have been a one tenth size van then Ted

In metal crankcase is a primer needed or straight to metal. I suppose it depends on the paint used.
