I think the yellow would look great with the blue and gold.

Here's a few colours Ted. My wife used a program called GIMP to make them.

Do you have to wear a mask when using that program?

Wow, thats proper trick that. Love it.

Bit too blue for me but love the yellow, perhaps the old Yellow Mica that they painted the Triumph T595 back in the 90's. Have a look at that Ted if you're exploring yellow's. I had my LC painted that colour at one point, inbetween blow ups ;D

Wow I liked the gold tank & panels more than I thought I would - might need some blue stripes. I'll have to try Gimp without the mask of course.

Back in the 1970's when I was selling Opel Mantas I loved Ochre downside is yellows fade badly as do reds unless they are metallic.

Another gold example with stripes

Maybe the ochre in matching the gold wheels such that it doesn't make another colourway, but in a fine satin lacquer to offset it in texture against the highlight wheel finish.

Alternatively, this type of detail in varying blue

Although it always seems difficult to lay detail on a 400 four tank. They appear quite individual in their original plain form, Haven't recall of a decent example that looks better than Honda spec.

Thought the 400 had twin front discs?

None of the twins (aircooled) did as far as I recall. Tasty calipers though, twin opposed piston and potent when working correctly.

Maybe I'm confusing it with the 400N.
