In the other thread I've suggested a spoonful of castor oil.

I run castor oil in a old V8 car engine, purely because it smells so nice.

Mixed at 100:1 just to give it a very low blend, haven't thought to check plugs for colour but may pull one out tomorrow to have a look.

In a lawnmower and petrol generator too, lovely smell of racing R when using the generator for circular saw etc on site.

Have to admit I have never tried it myself. :-[ It was in an article by Joop Sijses, the chief mechanic of Honda The Netherlands, the man that educated the mecs at Honda dealers.
I did use castor oil however on my 50 year old leather bags. It was last summer and the first time I did at least something as a reward for serving me 41 years, without any care but the repair of an occasional strap.
