Interesting article in this weeks Autocar about a Swedish start-up "Stilride" that is planning to build a low cost electric scooter using newly developed technology to make scooter frames & bodywork by bending stainless steel using lasers along the intended fold line after cold rolling the stainless steel.

The process is in the R&D stage - a prototype scooter has been built - looks like promising technology. with a wide range of potential markets.

That is interesting Ted! Frame is definitely going to outlive the battery’s. Nice to see how that develops. Not found the appeal of battery powered two wheeler yet, but haven’t tried one. I think us old school petrol heads are going to struggle. (Speak for myself!) 😂😂

I watched Henry Cole riding the all electric Harley interesting but did not leave me with the desire to own one- it's like comparing a Princess Class steam Train with a Mainline Electric Train.

I think ICE motorcycles will be looked upon in the future like we now look at Steam Engines & Steam Rollers with nostalgic fondness.
