Yep it's a lovely colour and luckily the tank was in excellent condition (spotless inside) but as it has large chrome sides on it, the paint underneath was original and immaculate so was very easy for my local paint shop to match up.
Paint is base coat and 2 pak lacquer.

Great work Paul, it really is getting there now. I love the small Honda twin engine, nice and simple to work on. I would like to get my hands on a CB160 to restore as that was my very first bike and you never forget your first bike do you   :)

My Cordylines didn’t survive the winter.

It went down to -8°C in December. It’s been that cold before but never for a whole week.

It would be nice to have a spray booth / paint shop like that.

I've just been given a green house, my wives best mate is dying and it's not wanted by her family so I asked and got. Result. Might grow some tomatoes and peppers. Don't like tomatoes myself but the wife says home grown ones taste superb.

If they are brown and drooping they are probably dead.

You need to cut them off where the trunk is firm (not soggy and rotten) and they may grow back. That’s what I’m hoping.

No I asked my missus to ask her son if anyone wanted it, I knew none of them had green fingers so it would have been thrown or sold with the house. The son said he'd asked his brother and sister and neither wanted it so I could have it.

Good use of a greenhouse…..drying room. I gave up on Toms and chillies, just didn’t have the green fingers.
