Clips
« on: March 06, 2022, 02:01:46 PM »
Is there a supplier that sells the intake rubber hose clips a bit cheaper than the usual suspects. As I need 12 in total it's a bit much paying £9 each (DSS). I notice the old trick of buying a cheap set from Cruzinimage and just keeping the clips is no more, they now also supply them without the clips.

I haven't got any old ones, unfortunately it didn't come with any. 4*3=12. 8 on the intake rubbers and 4 on the airbox.

The 500/550 uses the air cleaner clamp number Roy, I may have some lying about. I don't use them on mine as I prefer using stainless steel clamps these days. I'll have a look. I seem to recall they are bigger than the insulator clamps.

What about these?, they seem to do various sizes and not too badly priced.

I am not sure of the band width as I am not near my bike at present.

DSS were charging £9 each for these clips last week they now want £12 each. These bikes wont be worth restoring soon if these price rises continue.
