Downsizing... CB500K0 US Import by JamesH for sale
« on: March 22, 2022, 02:26:21 PM »
Having spent the last 2 years fighting cancer (declared clear last month), I have re-evaluated my biking needs.
I've sold my 2020 Tiger 900 GT Pro for a much smaller Tiger Sport 660.

I fancy a CB175 K5 (like the one I had in 1976) or a CB125S (like the one I had in 1974)

James found this bike for me in 2018. It's an early (April 1971) J-plate with square cranckcases. VIN 3240 in Gold.

There's an enormous list of work that was carried out which I will add to the end of this post, but in summary:
  • Engine service
  • Loads of NOS chassis parts
  • Paint by Menno
  • Carbs by Gerben
  • Clocks by Peter Horton

Bad bit: It leaks oil from the sump pan and the engine smokes through the breathers.

Looking for £6k from an SOHC member which is what I paid. If not, it'll go online for £7.5k
