Great to see a smart K0 with just about all the right bits including the rare switches. I got a NOS right one cheap but have had to compromise on a left one off a CB125 I think that is for external wiring. Have you got the mirrors?

The seat foam on mine crumbles through the holes and seems an insurmountable problem.

Yes, not easy to get the correct switch gear for these UK units. Have some mirrors somewhere and will have to hunt them down. If you take your seat cover off, you can put a thin layer of foam on the pan to stop the crumbling foam from escaping in to the air filter. I did it on a seat many years ago and it worked well  ;)

What's the Part no. Graham?

Only fitted to UK and some european models. Was also fitted to the UK CB750 K2, not sure about the UK CB750 K1, as i must of built more than 25 750K1 engines but, never a bike. P/N is 35250-323-013

Was in scan of Bryan's JDM 03/71 Parts Book, so I guess used on the Japan version too.

A year on from our last post ( I can't believe another year has gone by), the CB500 K0 UK model is now for sale.

Here's a few pics of it now finished. Full build photo portfolio and parts list available along with other pics of the completed bike.

Horn cover is on wrong Julie, the hole you can see goes at the bottom for water drainage. I'm doing mine now which is how I spotted it.

I'm looking at the horn now Ken, if I turn it round so the small hole is facing downwards, the opening for the power cable will be in totally the wrong place 🤔🤔🤔 I'll have to have a closer look later.

If you study the pic Julie you can see the hole at the bottom, it's hard to make out but it is there.

Just checked mine and it's exactly the same as the pic, 2 small crimped areas for the locating lugs on the horn and the hole at the bottom about 1.5 inches away from the left hand crimp. When fitted to the horn it locates with the hole at the bottom and the horn wires coming out about 10 past.

Looking at your pic of the horn in close up shows your cover is crimped on both sides of the hole, mine isn't.

IIRC the horn is a 750 so I'm wondering if the part number changed for later models. Mine is off a K1.

This item appears  to supports Kens comments - cable at 10.00 O'clock hole at bottom.

That's a very modern horn Ted as the bag has one of those fancy bar code scanning things (I can't remember what they are called now 😂😂😂). Anyways, the one on the K0 is an original K0 horn, not an up to date or superseded one. I've looked at the cover again and there isn't a hole in the bottom, only the one at about 9 o'clock with the cable entry at about 2 o'clock. It's exactly the same as the one I posted a photo of earlier from CMS for a UK K0 and it can't fit any other way, I've just tried 🤔🤔🤔
