The bench looks as though the wood is well weathered - the metal sign is new so I'm guessing its staged or a photoshop job - still good punch line.

I think it's real. I spotted it on a web page for Wrexham Football club, not their page but linked to it via Twitter. Could be an old bench but new sign as I think something like that would attract people who nick the sign for themselves. Either way it's really good and made me laugh out loud.

Yes its real, it was in Aberystwyth, i say was because the council removed it today according to BBC Wales News tonight.
