At least it would work, I've seen wood screws used for "ugrade" before  :o

Might be less soldering if you used the very large blade fuse rather than the micro or normal car sized ones you?

You could just bend the ends to fit the holder to gain "Bodger of the Year" award for DIY Sparky.
