Hold a tool tray for me Roo, I think my BIL needs one for my 500 which he borrowed but has never given back.

Asked for plug spanners on another thread, add a couple of 26mm toolkit spanners as well if you can. The box spanner type.

I'm writing a list,  ;)

I had a right good look for fork ears last time and forgot to say, they are as rare there as they are here sadly, all I looked at were either dented, holed, rusty as hell or already infested with tin worm. I did leave a list of stuff with him to keep an eye out for but like he says, unless someone is clearing somewhere out and wants rid they dont really come up that much. Its not like there are any crash damaged ones coming in like when there were loads about.

Whilst on about ears, I think I have two sets in the other shed (yeah  have two, proper middle class me, Phil  ;)) somewhere that might be of interest. I dont think theyre in bad nick but I'll have a mooch tomorrow and see if I can dig them out. I got them as part of a bundle and haven't even identified them, I know they're Honda but dunno what model. I think I had eye'd them up for the 400 but they were too big so might be for a 500, not sure. I'm off to see Bryan first thing but when I land back I'll have a dig about and bob some pics up on here.

MIck, do you have an email or better still, wattsapp you can send me via PM and I'll send some piccies over, you can take your pick mate they were retrieved with being able to be nanny'd up or rechromed. Theyre in not bad nickbut they are 40 odd years old so will need a bit of TLC depending on what standard your building to.That poor thing you started with, I bet seeing things go round in the cases was a relief in it'self wasnt it. Poor bloody thing, Ive never seen one as bad. Monster effort, well done.

Phil.

Those 1978 550k headlamp ears being advertised are in fact 1978 F2 American ears. At 50 dollars plus postage and tax that could be worth having, even after the cost of a rechrome.
