Tank Sprayer Lincs area
« on: June 21, 2022, 07:07:47 PM »
My tank and side panels have been sat in a local paint shop for neatly 15 months so I think it might be time to look for someone else! Does anyone know anyone in the Lincolnshire area who could prepare and paint my tank and side panels in parakeet yellow, including fitting supplied decals for a reasonable price?

Hi Julie. Yes, year last April, called tonight for the 6th time and he said I could take it somewhere else as he didn’t know when he would get to it. Seems everything else jumps the queue!

Faircharm Restorations (Leicester area) did a really first class job for me. Bearing in mind your current experience, he does get busy, so I guess you’d need to satisfy yourself on the potential timelines.

I can only say that my local sprayer has a backlog of 6 to 9 months. 15 months, however, seems somewhat a lengthy wait.

I know he's in Bristoil but we have couriers and the like. Give Tim a call at TJC designs (link attatched) he's absolutely brilliant, a lovely guy and bends over backwards to help you. Tell him you got the number off Roo and he should look after you.
