Type of colour

Hi all,Thanks for the wellcome.
Tried searching for colours for my 74 K4 750.In particular frame black.Is it gloss,satin or what.
Where do I look? Ta.

In the 70's it was 70's gloss but, gloss today is very blingy and the only trouble with satin is there is so many grades of satin. I do my early frames in semi gloss but, it all depends on the manufacturer of the paint.  ;)
I took to frames for paint some years ago somewhere near Bradford and asked, for semi gloss. When i went to pick them up , the paint looked like a matt black. All the painter said was, well it says semi gloss on the box  :o

I can do semi gloss black,no problem,Ta.
Noticed the engine mainly painted silver! is there a name/RAL number for it?

Majority of us use is Simoniz VHT. SIMVHT31D which is generally considered an almost perfect match
