Love to see these chaotic looking work spaces! Even managed to capture either a very short sighted person or more than likely someone camera shy? 🤣
Nice work!

Tomb:
Hahaha she said NOOOO don’t get me in the photos, why not though, it’s her bike and she’s doing most of the work.

Tomb:
Next job, we were short of an exhaust collet so I’ve made one up quickly from a bit of old pipe.

First off thank you for the help with this little CM125.

Little update. After fibreglassing the mudguards that quite frankly should have gone in the bin, and brushing on some silver paint (it’s a winter runabout costing, including initial purchase price, £135 so far) we had it assembled and ready to run, we had a bit of trouble getting it to run on two cylinders, the coil checked out at the correct 5ohms but I swapped it out anyway, all I had was a CBR600 coil at 3ohms and instant two cylinders and instant starting. So new coil needed.

A few more jobs will have it ready for pottering about on slippery winter roads, exhaust stud to repair, a working horn, plus a few other bits.

On another note, the little CM125 was 40 years old last month, on GOV. UK website it’s showing as not needing MOT but as we haven’t got to April yet still have to pay road tax, I tried to tax it at the Post Office but was refused as no MOT. My girlfriend phoned DVLA who said it doesn’t need an MOT, she was working in the next town so tried in their Post Office who happily taxed it. Just shows that however helpful our local Post Office staff usually are, mistakes are made.
