Senior moment Julie! It was me that asked!
(it looks red or orange in the picture) - nice bike
John's 350 is an original colour,

Look at the headlamp ears, and fork shrouds for an idea of the correct colour,

The tank and side panels are nicely faded by the sun,

It does look good

That bike is a CB350K2 import as the 350 was  never sold in here in the UK until the K4 model, which was only sold in candy green here. Another giveaway are the mudguards, which are the USA style.  I have a genuine UK CB250K2 which was only sold here in one colour scheme .... Candy Custom Gold/White.

After the the CB350K2 for one year only Honda did the K3 model (and 250 version in  the UK in Candy Gold only). On the USA 350K3 they ditched the silver base-coat on the Candy Ruby Red and used white base-coat with Candy Ruby Red. Ben Powell is painting his 71 K3 import in this scheme and it looks stunning. If anyone says Honda never did this, well I am sorry to disagree but you are 100% wrong.

I have just finished painting side panels, fork shrouds and headlight cowl, picture of one of the panels below, chuffed to say the least.

Looks like a good turn out at Crich, might make it there myself next year😁

Saw a couple of old brit bikes that i have never heard of or have seen before. They were Martinsyde which have a very nice bit of history building British aircraft .

Rick Parkington of Classic Bike has a Martinsyde. He compiled a series of articles covering his restoration of the bike. I know he had to have a new crankcase cast for it. Great articles to read.
