Decompressor cable 250RS 1980

Oggers:
Any ideas where I may find a decompressor cable for the 250RS? Looks Like Dave Silver cannot supply.....

Will any other cable from any other bike fit?

Cross ref the number on the CMSNL site and go to the bottom of the page and it will tell you all the other bikes it will go on and the supersessions if any. Some of the lesser liked bikes always have stuff on eBay and you sometimes get lucky with a revised number from there.

I've a funny feeling the 250RS uses the same cable as the XL250s, which is also common to the XL500s and some early FT500's as well. As said, CMS website will show interchangeability.
