Oh dear, I'm back!

I'm replacing my rear wheel hub, as the current one has an unusable brake drum, cracked and deformed. I'm down to the rear sprocket. The 4 nuts are off, but the sprocket will not come off the studs, stuck solid.

Is this usual? Is there a knack to getting off?

The sprocket has plenty of life left and im hoping to re-use the sprocket flange, drive side bearing within and cush rubbers. Do I actually need to remove the sprocket, or can it all come off together, i.e. still attached to the 'sprocket flange'? From the manual diagram, it looks like the sprocket flange is only held in by the cush rubbers?

Is there a knack to getting the sprocket flange out from the cush rubbers / rear wheel hub? Very loathe to start prying on alloy castings!

OK, I've done it, stood on the tyre and pulled, I overestimated the force needed and ended up on my arse

I used a big rubber mallet on mine - stayed on my feet though.

Rear wheel laced, trued, shod and new brake shoes. I'm waiting for new righthand switchgear, so can't test ride the new brake drum, but in the garage it applies smoothly, so I think it's fixed.

Rear tyre was undated, probably 10 years old, so new RoadRider. Will put one on the front over the weekend and look again at taking the neutral switch off to clean. New switchgear arrives 6th April.

Itching to get out again, hopefully the weather will clear up.
